Ehsan Jafri, ((1929 – 28 February 2002) was an ex-Parliamentarian who was hacked and burnt to death in 2002 outside his own home by BJP men during the Gujarat riots of 2002.... Jaffri Saab called Modi for help who promised...instead sent more of his terrorists to finish him off.... yet RK Raghavan of the SIT refused to take cognizance of the evidence. A friend of mine penned this tribute: Jaffri sab... a thousand flowers to your ultimate sacrifice in standing up to protect the innocent...and I hope the Indian Justice system delivers....the justice ....that would be a tribute to your wifes fight for justice... To the gods I pray...i will ask only this.....are you are blind to the pain and sufferings to the pain of 80+year old woman and her family... I am sure you are watching over your family.....and for you...I am sure the family for you is the country called India....and the secular foundation on which this country was born... I promise you sir....your ultimate sacrifice and the pain / loss your family endured, is enduring and will always endure will not go in vain...for we will work to India remains...... a secular country....where all of us free.....and live together as brothers and sisters....not divided by region or religion....or caste or by color or creed.....
