Eid Mubarak to all my Islamic friends. Today is a very important day for you a day of love, prayer and family. For Christians, above all Italians, this is the day we remember Francesco, a brave Italian young man, who in the Middle Age refused the richness of his family, went among the poorest people to pray and work with them, asking for a new catholic church, more humble, more dedicated to poor people than to power and wealth. People said he spoke to everyone, also to animals that trusted and obeyed him. Francesco believed in the happiness that just comes from your total faith in God and he believed in peace. I like this, I like that in this day we all think about faith, happiness and peace at same time, the real big values that we share.
