Eid as usual at IB was a joyous occasion with the centre heaving at maximum capacity. After the Eid prayer the audience listened intently to a short khutba by Ustadh Masood Chowdhury who spoke about the Hajj of Malcolm X and the transformational effect it had on him and for thousands of Americans who left the racist ideology of the Nation of Islam and embraced the religion of Allah, the real Islam. The khutba was followed by the traditional Eid breakfast. We ask Allah to accept the Hajj of all those who did the Hajj this year and accept all our good deeds over the last ten days. Ameen.
