Eight months ago I decided the best thing I could do for myself was to leave Newton KS and go back to Kansas City to figure out my next step in life. Now here I am, about to move to Florida and entering into the graduate school at Florida State University to further myself as a musician and vocalist. This eight month journey has brought some amazing things... Moving back in with my family and reconnecting with Emily Powell Jacob Powell Amy Powell Rebecca Adrian Powell Cliff Powell Diane Benzing-Adrian and Bob Adrian and having lunch together every Tuesday, traveling to FSU, a week in Los Angeles where I met Darius Parvin, Easter in Raleigh NC to see Paul Voran and Sarah Guizard, performing in the 2014 Bethel College Masterworks along side Soyoun Chun and Monica Schmidt, watching my youngest sister graduate, watching amazing friends Creigh Bartel Joel Boettger and Paul Voran graduate from Bethel and then spending graduation weekend at The Pit with said friends as well as Lisa Geist Doug Kliewer Will Lewis Tiana Renae Williams Emily Harder and so many others, traveling to Chicago and meeting Paul Wilcox and spending time with Kelly Jo Reed, seeing my cousin Paul Dziadul Jr. Marry Courtney Yvonne Dziadul and seeing cousin Anna Elizabeth Creath marry Joseph T. Creath, seeing and having good conversation with Grandmother Sarah, meeting Becky Smith and going to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World with my parents, siblings and Janice Piper Samantha Powell William Powell and two incredible little cousins Henry and Charlie, spending an afternoon with Roxanne Adrian, competing at and taking 2nd place at the 53rd national NATS conference in Boston and meeting Antonio Charles Brody DelBeccaro all the while being guided around by Kelli Morrison Pontbriand and Rich Pontbriand, celebrating my Grandparents 50th Anniversary as a family with Jonathan Adrian Elizabeth Adrian Dziadul, and finally having an incredible send off party Lesli Higbee Antonio Hernandez Pamela Renae Justin Pike Aj Breana Christine Jalen Luis Kaitlyn Quan Vicki Ashley Stephanie Blazek Marichalar Aaron Samantha... Really and Truly, my cup runneth over. Thank You
