Eight years ago I moved back to Pueblo to focus on painting and drawing. It had been a few years since I did anything artistic and I realized that I needed to quit being a sorry human being. During those first two or three years I made a ton of art. Most of it bad. Some of it good in a raw, honest kind of way. Ever since that initial period I have rarely felt sentimental attachment to the stuff I make. But Ive held on to that early stuff tight. As hard as it is the time has come for me to part with it, most of it, anyway. Im having a show on Thursday at Neon Animals at 6pm where Ill be selling old paintings, drawings and prints along with some newer stuff. Much of it is unframed and even damaged (character) but Ill be letting it go for very reasonable prices. I guess you could say its a retrospect of some of my worst, most meaningful work. Heres some of the work Ill have available.
