Eight years ago this morning, about two hours ago our time, I had very different dreams and expectations. I planned for pretty patten leather shoes, baby dolls, Barbie, tea parties and finger nail polish. Running around the park like her brothers, slumber parties, sports, choir concerts, or cheer leading. I couldnt love this little girl more, and as happy as I am to celebrate her day today, there is a twinge of the way I thought it would go. Shes bright, happy, has a killer laugh and a great sense of humor. Had we not gone on this journey with her we would not know half the outstanding people we do. So today on her 8th birthday my hopes are for a cure for what is locking all that should could be, that she may someday have the life I hoped for her to have and for her to be happy no matter what the future holds for her. Happy 8th Birthday my sweet Taryn Rose!!
