Eighth Air Force activity 21st January 1945-About 750 heavy bombers hit marshalling yards and a tank factory at Aschaffenburg, a military vehicle plant, bridge, a comm center and marshalling yard at Ambach, the town of Reutlingen and 3 targets of opportunity. 9 fighter groups fly close support and strafe 4 airfields plus numerous miscellaneous ground targets. 1 P51 group flies an area sweep in support of heavy bombers and another supports 9th Air Force medium bombers.
