Eileidh is no longer in isolation!!!! We were allowed to take her out in the car for a few hours today :) :) Even though we couldnt technically go anywhere, she loved just being out in the car, and it gave me a good excuse to nip into the shops ;) She is still in source so we still need to wear our yellow aprons in her room & she isnt allowed out onto the ward (also because her neutrophils arent quite high enough yet as they are just 1.8) Eileidh had bloods taken and was given Metaclopramide, Ursodeoxycholic Acid, Aciclovir, Itraconazole & Cotrimoxazole. She has now been taken off of GCSF too. Her list of daily meds are getting shorter & shorter! She tolerated Nutrini Energy well last night, with no problems. If she is the same tonight & tomorrow night, she will go back onto Nutrini Energy Multi Fibre which is what she has been on since the start. She ate some of her macaroni & cheese, 1/3 of a tub of melon & 1/2 a pear at lunch time then she ate 1 1/2 fish fingers & some chips for supper! Eileidh has also drunk almost a full can of coke (she spilled a wee bit), 3 pots of apple juice & about 1/4 of her bottle of Vimto :D Its amazing what a trip out in the car can do. Shes also sitting eating some Twirl Bites at the moment too :) Her platelets & haemoglobin have started rising again slowly too, without the need for any transfusions. The difference in her this week is unbelievable compared to the last week or two. Our magpie continues to amaze us & fill us all with pride
