Einstein once defined insanity as doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. Watch this clip from 22 years ago and youll be struck at how the narrative of the argument is the same then as it has been these pat few months. People say dont vote for independence because you hate the Tories, but in those 22 years weve had almost a decade and a half of Labour rule in Westminster, and all nothing has changed, save Britains rich have got richer, the tax payers of the working and middle classes financed two wars for oil companies and more profit making, publicly-owned enterprises have been sold to those with connections to power. What will people 22 years from now, in 2036, look back on? Will we still be listening to a ruling class in Westminster tell us out of one side of their mouth that Scotland is too poor to go it alone while out of the other that we benefit so much from the union? Or will we be looking back on 22 years of prosperity in a fairer and more equal society?
