Einstein reasoned and then demonstrated that gravity bends light. He concluded the cause was gravity warped space-time but that cause was not proven. The argument can be made that visible light (not photons) responds to the force of gravity. With recognition that visible light is a form of energy that has an affinity to both repelling and attraction energy charges it is understandable that the affinity energy seen as light would be attracted by gravity since gravity is powered by attraction energy charges. The glow of a distant light source is not conveyed by photons but rather is the energy radiated by exposed affinity energy and that energy is attracted by massive objects as it passes by. The gravitational attraction field causes a change in the direction of affinity charge radiation producing a lensing effect. This alternative explanation has as much validity as warped space time until one or the other is proven or dis-proven.
