Eire Og 5-3 Stables Eire Og leapfrogged the Stables in the league when they completed a 5-3 win to move up to third in the table. Paul Callaghan got his third win in four when he hit an 18 dart leg as he beat Stables Captain Shane Tallon 2-0 to give them a good start. Dee McConville levelled the match for the Stables as he won 2-1 against Micky Dunwoodie winning in 21 darts. Mark McLernon put Eire Og in front again winning 2-0 against Michael Lamb but it was soon level again as Pat Curran won his fourth game of the year beating Dermy McStay 2-0. Just like the previous four games the fifth and sixth games were also won against the throw of darts as again Eire Og went in front through Chris Cinnamond before John Bishop beat Micky Campbell to leave the match tied at 3 games each.
