Either this is occurring more frequently or because of camera phones is being reported more frequently. Either way, it seems the MO is to have an excuse to enter private property and then claim fear for my life and shoot pets. Ill bet if this owner decided that his dog was too old or too sick and shot him out of mercy, the PoPo would have been called and charged him with animal abuse. Pets aside, why do they think they can just run Willy Nilly onto private property and do what they please. Yes in this case it was about a lost child, however, many more of these murdered pet cases are because of victimless crimes. I.E. someone sells a single $5 marijuana joint on a street corner and police give chase into private property and because they are pussies they shoot any dog they come in contact with.
