We all have our pencils given to us by our Creator. We are all expected to use these pencils to write beautiful scripts and stories about ourselves. I agree that environment determines the beginning of the story but you owe yourself the duty to determine the ending. Where you start does not matter, what matters is where you are and where you are going. I totally agree that the journey is not always rosy, but you are still expected to write a beautiful story about yourself by taking charge! The simple truth is that when you fail to take charge of what happens around you, other people will take charge for you. When people take charge for you, they usually have packages that might not be palatable. When people write your stories, they usually end up in what Chimamanda Adichie calls, A Single Story. Single stories are usually one-sided. You need to run your day as legendary Jim Rohn suggested above. Take over your personality and environment. Develop a mindset of champions; a mindsets that believes in winning. You have the champion instinct in you; you have all it takes to get to the top. Begin now to take charge, do the thinking it requires and get rid of fear around and within you. It also follows that you do the work you need to do and get the knowledge and skills you need in the journey. It takes preparation before taken charge. Lets get to work!
