Ekadasi tithi ki jaya!!! Its nice to be in Mayapur for Kartik. Its hot and sunny here still and Ganga snana (bathing in river Ganges) is easy to do. All bad emotions and mental rubbish disappear with Ganga snana and chanting Harinam becomes simple and natural. (well thats my experience :) ) Nanda nandan Krishna was born to Mother Yashoda in Gokul, (part of Vrindavan) in the time of Dvapara yuga and that same Krishna again appeared as Nimai, Sri Chaitanya deva, born from Saci Mata (Yashoda ma) 500 years ago in Mayapur (Antardvip-the centre of the 8 petal lotus of Navadvip). Therefore (I think it was) Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur who has said that as Navadvip and Vrindavan are non different, so too Mayapur and Gokul are one and the same. So, what a nice place to spend the month of Damodar meditating on Damodar lila with the help of sadhu sanga! Well I am attempting to anyhow :) Today with my limited internet power I am posting 1) delicious Ekadasi prasadam from Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya math, 2) what happens when I collect cow dung to put in my room to deter the ant invasion and 3) my Thakurjis laundry because it looks nice :D I washed all their clothes today after doing their Ekadasi srngar. I know this all sounds rather simplistic, but thats how I feel. Fortunate to have simple living in Navadvip dhama. These simple things make me feel happy :D And I even get happy to see how my internet connection sometimes says its from Krishna nagar server and sometimes from (Ambika) Kalna although I am not moving around. Even something that simple reminds me of Gaurangas pastimes like my laptop is changing its meditation from one pastime to another :D
