Ekaterina Trifonova Name: Ekaterina Trifonova Qualifications: HE Certificate in Keyboards Biography: Ekaterina started to learn music at the age of seven when she entered the music school in Moscow. After years of studying mostly classical piano, she became interested in jazz and popular music, so she decided to take an extra 8th year at school playing more jazzy and contemporary pieces of her choice. At the age of sixteen she entered the Moscow College of Music C-Jam Club where she had the experience of playing with ensembles and jazz orchestras, developing improvising skills and learning jazz harmony. Ekaterina also studied Pedagogics and Psychology for five years, during which she was playing at C-Jam Club and with several bands in Moscow. Being still passionate for music after graduating from university, she entered Tech Music School in London in the year 2010, where she studied keyboards for one year and started to play with her band The Atelier. In 2011 Ekaterina entered Goldsmiths University of London where she currently studies a BMus in Popular Music. Ekaterina is taking part in project such as Goldsmiths Vocal Ensemble, Music Collective and Chamber Choir
