H.E., Jeremiah Adebisi Omoyeni A former Deputy Governor and WEMA Bank MD, born in Ikere-Ekiti, HE Adebisi Omoyeni is on the board of several companies including WEMA securities and Finance PLC,Oasis insurance Company PLC, WEMA Trustees,Interswitch Limited and ATM Consortium Limited among others. HE Adebisi Omoyeni(On leave of absence from the Bank) was appointed the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State,from where he recalled to become the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.When he was MD in WEMA bank,the financials recorded under BISI OMOYENI were impressive. Senator Gbenga Aluko He is from Ode Ekiti in Gbonyin Local Government Area of the state. He is from the south senatorial district where majority of the aspirants are clamouring for zoning because the district has not produced a governor for the state. Senator Aluko, who is one of the sons to the late renowned economist, Prof. Sam Aluko, is a consistent, loyal and influential member of the PDP, who has his popularity among the youths and elders of the state with high intellectual capacity. Prince Dayo Adeyeye, A former scribe of the pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, who hails from Ise Ekiti in Ise/Orun Local Government. He is a former chairman, Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board and from the southern senatorial district of the state. A lawyer, journalist and politician, he is popular across the political divides in the state. He is also influential and commands great respect among his people. Bimbo Owolabi One of the new faces that have dotted the political landscapes in the South-West is Bimbo Owolabi, the Ise-Ekiti-born entrepreneur.
