Ekiti APC and its usual character of fabricating lies. It is so funny that the outgoing Governor Kayode Fayemi and the APC could sit down and concoct a lie that the Governor-Elect, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose today slapped a court Judge ( Justice Adeyeye precisely) within the premises of Ado Ekiti High Court. All because they want to embarrass the Governor-Elect. Actually, the election petition tribunal began sitting today in Ado Ekiti and Fayose was at the court as a respondent in the petition filed by the APC. Members of the press who had been in the court as early as 8.30am witnessed the arrival of Fayose at the court and as well his departure. Therefore the newspaper correspondents in Ekiti were surprised when they were confronted with this lie which they know did not take place because they were at the court with the governor-elect. When they asked Fayose if he had beaten a judge today at the court. Fayose replied them by asking were you not at the court today when I arrived and when I left. Did you see me fighting anybody. Did I go to any court after I came out of the Tribunal? The answer is for you to provide in your reports. Last Monday, the APC had expected a judgement stopping swearing in of Fayose in the case filed by E-11. In the actual sense what the E11 had put before the court were pre-election matters which an incorruptible judge would dismiss because event had overtaken them. For instance, the E-11 had said since Fayose was impeached in 2006, he was not qualified to contest the last June 21 governorship election. But because most of the judges in the Ekiti Judiciary are either E11 members or friend of Kayode Fayemi, Justice Ogunyemi who handled the case ruled that his court could hear the case and at the same prepared to give final judgement in a case that we have not present our defence because proper hearing had not commenced. The APC, sensing that it cannot win at the Tribunal decided to apply the E11 suit against Fayose to stop the swearing in. Two weeks ago, Segun Oni, Niyi Adebayo, Fayemi and some APC stalwarts held a meeting at the Ekiti Government House and later ended the meeting with clinking of glasses. Our source told us that the former governors got assurance of Justice Ogunyemi to truncate the swearing in of Fayose by the judgement he would deliver last Monday September 22. It was equally sealed that the speaker would be swore in as the acting governor. Because the APC and the Ekiti Judiciary have failed in their coup against the people of Ekiti State who elected Fayose, they have now resorted to fabricating lies to disparage the Governor- Elect. But no amount of lies and propaganda by the APC, the E -11, the paid writers can stop the swearing in of Ayo Fayose on October 16, 2014 as Ekiti State Governor in as much that nobody is too powerful for the Almighty God to bulldoze out of our path to greatness.
