El Pascol cocaine 16yo 15.2ish hh bay gelding ( not reg) By OAK RUSH winner of over 40 stockmans challenges and versitile producer of top working, drafting , allround stock and quarterhorses. Sire is by the great Docs Freckles Oak ( imp) cutting stallion, one of the best allround cowhorse producing horses ever un Australia. Dam is another El pascol mare, who was not pure reg as her grand dam was not dna... dam is by a working horse stallion who won several cow events and drafts... corrinya docs pride. Cokewas bred at el pascol stud ( Longreach ag college) was broken in by a female student then campaigned by a young man in a few challenges and drafts. John Arnold, quote he was the best drafting horses i have ever had/seen. He also did quite a bit of general mustering. He was sold through ash sales and even unreg made top price of the sale 5500.... Was bought by a barrel racing home and did a few years of barrel racing. Was then sold to the outback spectacular for their original show on the gold coast. There coke was exposed to everything ( as well as at the ag college). Had flags carried off him, whips cracked off him, led around at walk-trot and canter off a quad bike, raced against a quad/motorbike. Exposed to indoor arena, large crowds, big groups of horses and cattle. Can be stood up on in the saddle. Estblished/flawless FLYING CHANGES. Soft mouth with an awesome set of breaks on him. Rollbacks... can turn on a dime. From outback spectacular he was sold for 5000 to an home where rider wanted ot get back into sporting/ ponyclub. The last couple of years due to no rider had been turned out then owner went into severe drought. Horse is usally an excellent doer but was on dirt so lost a bit of weight. Been brought back into being ridden now, no dirt at all and put weight back on in just weeks ( could use more topline now) Coke would make a decent allround cowhorse or lower level drafter for a soft, decent rider. NOt for any beginners, nervous or in exp riders due to education and background from barrel and sporting making him hotter and more forward then a top level drfating horse. Coke is up to date with worming and feet.... pics and video attached current Has no visible arthritis etc but he still is 16yo! vet checks welcome Coke is an absolute sweetheart, my 3yo daughter handles him... self loads onto float.... easy to catch, he will canter up top you when called and follow you around the paddoc. Dream to tie up, rug, do feet. Not pushy on the ground, very respectful.
