El-Rufai laments neglect of Kaduna people by PDP The All Progressive Congress has continued to be the beneficiary of the gale of defection that has hit the Peoples Democratic Party in Kaduna State with the latest defection of top women members of the PDP in the state. The latest defection was formally announced at the campaign rally of the APC governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, in Lere Local Government Area in the Zone 1 senatorial area as part of the campaign rally towards the 2015 governorship election. Speaking at the event which took place at Lere Township stadium, Mallam El-Rufai pointed out that the terrible state of the stadium was enough evidence of why the wind of defection that has hit the PDP in the state will continue for a long time to come. The governorship candidate, who lifted the hands of the leaders of the defecting women group and introduced them to the people also pointed out that the time to change the condition of the people for the better had come and if the people would only exercise their power through the ballot, no level of intrigues being planned by the party in power would be able to stop it.
