Election Day is here, VOTE tomorrow. November 4th 2014 Baldwin County Legal Eagle would like to congratulate Kimberly McCuiston and Ginger Poynter. Both women stood up to the status quo, THE good ole boys club that has ruined Baldwin County as a place to live and raise a family. Two independent women running as independents has never happened in Baldwin County. They have challenged a powerful Republican executive committee in Baldwin County, and bloodied their nose. They have opened a door for change of a system in Baldwin County that is known as closed door, exposing corruption in our family courts and municipalities. Unbeknownst to them, is their contribution to the revolution already going on in Baldwin County. I say Revolution because that is what it will take to expose the level of corruption that exists. It will take a public forum such as BCLE and a press like Lagniappe Mobile to be the vehicle to confront corrupt public officials in bed together. The Alabama Ethics Commission, The State Judiciary and the Alabama Bar Association all have complaint forms and procedures to file a complaint. The problem is the agencies always favor the public official over the complaints. So you Vote them out, right? In Baldwin County voter fraud has many facets. Such as changing the qualifications for Sheriff or eliminating competition by declaring your opponent is not Republican enough. For years suspicions have surrounded our election results in certain municipalities in Baldwin County. Hopefully complaints filed by BCLE and others to the Secretary of State and the FBI will draw attention to our concerns. Al. com has endorsed Trip Pittman over Kimberly McCuiston. This seems odd since it was their reporter, Connie Baggett, who exposed the allegations of fraud involving Senator Pittman and Mayor Kant. By the way she was replaced by the paper after County Commissioners complained to the paper. Al also ignores the Senator’s actions of changing qualifications to run for sheriff. They also ignored the (illegal) contract Pittman had to remove anchors from the bay. They ignored the fact that he was not a general contractor at the time of the contract, which was a requirement of the contract. Most of all they ignored the fact that he was the appointed trustee to oversee the BP money and aid municipalities, instead he awarded himself $ 636,000 contract; that’s a hell of a trustee. They ignore any possibility of ongoing investigations involving Pittman, even though a federal grand jury has already convened. They ignored the swirling rumors that Pittman is responsible for the 23 words changed to give all State Medicaid and Medicare pharmaceuticals to one company. Trip will pay for his crimes. Maybe then al will apologize for lying, aiding and abetting a future felon. We doubt it. BCLE endorses Kimberly McCuistion, Vote Independent Al endorses Michelle Obama Thomason over Ginger Poynter. This has become the real battle of this Election. However Al has ignored any and all allegations and complaints levied against Judge Thomason. Instead they insist, “She demonstrates a sense of fairness, compassion and initiative”. Give me a break! This is complete BS! Al is a shill for the corrupt republican party—just like Rob Holbert of Lagniappe Mobile bravely asserts. Al ignores almost 3000 people chiming in on BCLE with complaints and turns a blind eye to an obviously serious problem involving hundreds of kids caught up in a dysfunctional court. Al ignored the Baldwin County Executive Committee’s action to eliminate Ginger as “not Republican enough”, that’s called fixing an Election. BCLE endorses Ginger Poynter, Vote Independent. Please do not Vote straight Ticket, Republican or Democrat, Vote for the best candidate, Vote for Improvements to our quality life and what is good for us all, not a select few in a select party. BCLE also Endorses Susan Smith in State Senate Seat22, we endorse Joe Hubbard for attorney general, and pray for a change in the governor’s mansion with Parker Griffith. We want to assure you that BCLE will NEVER give up in our quest to expose corruption and corrupt elected officials. Stay tuned to this site. We are just getting started.
