Election Day pet peeve: Encouraging people to vote. I dont want anybody to show up on election day but me, ensuring my vote carries maximum power. Why encourage the dilution of your own influence? And lets be real, it is highly doubtful that the person who needs to be encouraged and reminded to vote is going to do anything but vote recklessly with little forethought. Why encourage such socially irresponsible people to vote?
