Election updates: democracy entails people choosing leaders of their choice through that one vote for each person.when people exercise this right,they BELIEVE that ECZ will indeed communicate exactly that to the people of Zambia. What we have are results from each polling stations that are tallied BUT what is transmitted to Lusaka in some specific constituencies are different results.the case of kabompo west,chawama,chilanga,kalulushi,lusaka central etc results arent the correct ones and have brought this to the attention of ECZ.why should acts of ommission,commission or acts done in good faith not be reversed?why would voters trust ECZ next time they vote?deliberate change of results is a source anarchy and mistrust.We urge ECZ to do the right thing for the sake of democracy and peoples confidence in future and reducing voter apathy.
