Electric Vehicle Program Internship Drive Oregon (driveoregon.org/) is a state-supported nonprofit organization focused on growing Oregon’s electric vehicle industry. We are a young and small organization, creating great opportunities for interns to work directly with the Executive Director and get in on the ground floor of building an effective nonprofit organization in an exciting cleantech industry. Intern roles: 1. Database -Learn Salesforce CRM program -Input contact data from cards, files, etc. -Create and manage lists and campaigns (media list, member prospects, etc.) 2. Communication & Marketing -Learn Vertical Response email newsletter tool -Draft news items and newsletter for distribution -Update website using Wordpress -Update Facebook page and twitter feed 3. Events -Assist with planning monthly industry events, workshops, meetings, conferences, etc. -Assist with promoting events online, posting to news sites, etc. -Help organize and manage event logistics 4. Research -Research and gather information about electric vehicle businesses and other stakeholders -Gather current industry news -Other specific research tasks on industry issues, as assigned 5. Other research, writing, outreach, and administrative tasks as required. Qualifications: · Strong writing and communication skills · Attention to detail · Interest in electric vehicles/economic development/clean technology · Knowledge of databases/web helpful Time Requirement: The hours are flexible with a range of 12-15 hours per week during terms. Compensation: This position is being funded through generous grant funding and donations to the Sustainability Internship fund managed by the Institute for Sustainable Solutions to support sustainability. Compensation is $1,500 per term for graduate students and $1,000 per term for undergraduate students.
