Electric generators - one thing i have learnt over the past few days with my experiments on electric generators is that a generator is also an electric motor. at the same time its generating power, it also has a mechanical force opposing it in form of a motor. thats why during peak hours, we get power cuts or load shedding. the generator eventually cant handle the pressure. ive been trying to counter this effect with some success. if you pulse the generator, lets say at 50 times per second or more, you can collect what is known as Back EMF to send back as power. that way the negative energy works for you. this makes the generator almost 200% more efficient. what am trying to say here is that its possible to stop load shedding with very simple technology. so sometimes i wonder if our technicians just dont know how or they enjoy keeping people in the dark
