Electricity update As reported in the press we may be spared further load shedding until after Christmas. Please continue to use electricity sparingly. Capital projects We succeeded to spend in total R65 million on various capital projects including the upgrading of 4 waste water treatment plants, roads, fencing, the stadiums and electricity in its first 6 months of its book year. A further R 100 million will be invested over the next six months. More than 300 Rd houses have also been started, funded by the Provincial Government. Within the next few weeks the tenders on the next 20 000 Sq m for potholes and for a new 20 mw water purification unit will be awarded. This will make a marked difference in our situation. In Phola with assistance from the mines the substation is being upgraded, the same with assistance from Anglo the substation at Kwaguqa. The teams on road maintenance and cleaning have also been equipped and the results are starting to be more noticeable. We have still a steep hill to climb but at least we are climbing it.....
