Position REQUIRES the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. “ Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English” Job Description: This techniican applies technical knowledge to perform simple and routine tasks following detailed instructions. - Must be able to understand manufacturers manuals or similar documents. - Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. - Performs a wide variety of duties in the installation, modification and operation of electrical equipment. -Test electronic circuits and components to locate and replace defective components. -Assist in planning and layout of installations of telecommunications wiring and equipment. Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment and taking test reading. Uses common instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers and oscilliscopes.
