Elevated showers and t-storms will be dotted across north Texas today, and then late this afternoon, a few storms are expected to punch through the cap and rapidly become severe generally east of a line from Bonham-Rockwall-Hillsboro. Some of the data suggest storms could fire 20 miles west of this line while others suggest 30 miles to the east. So this line is a fairly decent average. Although there will not be a lot of storms, the ones that do pop along the dryline this afternoon could be quite intense, so stay tuned.
