Eleven crewmen are still missing after their cargo vessel sank when it collided with a container ship south of Po Toi Island, outside Hong Kong waters before dawn today. The only survivor, a 47-year-old man, was picked up by a passing fishing boat and taken to Hong Kong after the collision which happened 3.7 kilometres south of Po Toi Island at about 2.30am. He is being treated at Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai. The air and sea search and rescue operation, coordinated by the Guangdong Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre, is still underway.
