Eleven months after the murder of Gary Ogreen at a Fruitland Township house party, Alexander Bumstead, 23, has pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter for his role in the events of that night. Bumsteads plea was pursuant to an agreement with the Muskegon County Prosecutors Office, which charged Bumstead with involuntary manslaughter rather than open murder in exchange for Bumsteads testimony against the shooter, Deontay DeMarco Black-Wickliffe.
