Elgeyo Marakwet MPs have expressed anger over David Kimaiyos resignation as the Inspector General of Police. Kimaiyo, who comes from the county, resigned on Tuesday, citing personal reasons. The MPs claim Kimaiyo was forced to resign by the Jubilee government. The leaders said they might reconsider their political support for the Jubilee government because of Kimaiyos exit. We are not happy with what has happened to Kimaiyo because we know he is being sacrificed for mistakes that are not of his making, Marakwet East MP Bowen Kangogo told leene emet on phone yesterday.
