Eli had a Dr appt today and he has gained a half of a pound which is great! We have been working so hard at gaining weight. He also had been taking larger bottles 5-6oz at a time which is wonderful! The muscle relaxer we have him on at nighttime seems to be helping to loosen him up. We added on a morning dose and after 4 mornings of an extremely emotional, sleepy, sensitive to most noise, little boy, we decided to only keep the nighttime dose for now. The Baclofen made him so sensitive to noise, that he tensed up, which made him clench even more with the right arm, although it made his leg pretty loose. Still going to see if maybe he would be a Botox candidate. We are leaps and bounds from where we were when we came home from the hospital, but still have a long way to go. Baffled as to why our outpatient therapy place, which is wonderful, has a policy that only allows 3 months on, then 3 months off of therapy during this last 2 months, Eli has had therapy thru the school district, which has Ben alright, but nothing to the caliber of the therapy center. He needs therapy. We see much more progress when he is consistently in therapy versus taking their recommended break. Seeing what we can do about that. Might have to go somewhere else :/. Praying for wisdom as we continue to be vigilant with our sweet Elijah and juggle time between him and our lively Gabriel. Praying for patience. Thanking The Lord for a wonderful place of our own!!
