Eli had to stay at clinic for a bit yesterday to receive fluids for dehydration, but otherwise he had decent numbers. So, obviously, we are still struggling with just eating and drinking enough, but it was nice to see his other numbers recovering better. In general, he seems to feel ok. I have a new post at stansgotafrog WAR EAGLE to our Auburn friends. Eli isnt necessarily a football fan, but claims either Auburn or Tennessee if he is pushed. I hope you are all making plans to wear something Superhero at school or work on the 12th in honor of September being childhood cancer month. Take pictures and post them here to show your support! Take it a step further and do something that day to spread the word and raise awareness. Take superhero cookies to share, or pass around a jar to collect money for the Childrens Oncology Group. He was from a neighboring community and lost his life to childhood cancer. And, I am especially heart-heavy for little Karis who just found out that her medulloblastoma has relapsed. Tonight Im sharing a picture of Eli and Caleb after I pulled a tooth for each of them. I love pulling teeth, and they were so excited about loosing them. A beautiful childhood milestone. They were both very proud to have something for the tooth fairy.
