Eli is doing really well and his abdomen is healing nicely, he has been lifted from his restrictions and is allowed to be up and about again. The 2 openings in his incision have stopped leaking and are closing up. I have been overwhelmed by the blessing God has given us in our urologist for Eli. He has texted me many times everyday since Eli had his initial surgery on the 8th. He checks on him at all points thru the day and night, he truly cares about Eli and how he is doing. I think the most surreal part was having him thank me on a few different occasions for taking such good care of Eli. Imagine that...the surgeon that has been going above and beyond the call of duty everyday for weeks, thanking me. We are unbelievably blessed to have Dr Riden taking care of Eli. Even today he wasnt supposed to be seeing patients in the office, but he had me bring Eli in so he could lay eyes on his incision, instead of just seeing pics via text. He wanted to put his mind and mine at ease before we headed into the weekend. That is such an amazing level of medical care, someone that truly treats the patient and family. So many others could really learn from him. We are so blessed by so many of our physicians, God has been so good to us by putting us under the care of genuinely caring physicians. Feeling blessed, thankful and amazed.
