Eligh & Amp Live - Devil’s Medicine I’m a really big fan of Eligh and Amp Live, but I was somewhat disappointed by their 2011 collab album Therapy At 3. I’m not saying it’s a bad album, since it’s actually really enjoyable, but I have higher expectations for both these artists. Devil’s Medicine is my favorite song off the album. Eligh exquisitely depicts his nicotine addiction with his aggressively sharp flow. This is one of his more unique pieces, given Amp Live’s stripped down beat and the fairly abstract nature of the song. He’s low-key one of the best MC’s on the west coast. Amp Live’s talents also are fairly overlooked. He’s honestly one of the greatest remixers I’ve ever known. ————————————————————————— My Song Rating: 9.1 out of 10
