Elisabeth Larkin Van Dyk (Amy) challenged me to 5 days of gratitude. This is a very easy challenge for me as my nature it gratefulness and being optimistic......I am most grateful for my relationship with Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed of the gospel and I try to be bold without being boastful. Pastor David L Thomas has been speaking on this for the past couple of weeks. People say that my faith is a crutch. This is most certainly true. I lean on Jesus daily. Sometimes i dont just lean, I let him fully carry me. There was a time in my life when I carried a terrible burden, while Jesus was standing next to me waiting for me to give it to him. He could have taken this burden from me, but instead waited for me to give it to him. It was, without a doubt, the biggest lesson in my life. And I am thankful for this life changing experience. I cannot do this life on my own and my prayer is to have the faith to give my life for Jesus Christ.
