Eliud Owalo, the man who helped sink the Raila Odinga campaign, has been named in a secret National Intelligence Agency (NSA) report as the man, among others, who has been working to destabilize the President Uhuru Kenyatta’a government. The report indicates that Owalo is actively involved in the recruitment of students from Kenyatta, Nairobi and Maseno universities as well all as the youth to hold a massive demonstration against the government. “The plot to have kick off an equivalent of the Arab Spring,” the source added. Owalo is believed to be working in cahoots with Elmi Mohamed, a senior official in Barclays Bank of Kenya and William Chelashaw, the former managing director Kenya Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director who was named in the Euro Bank scandal. This means the Odinga, who lost to Kenyatta in the March 4 general election is still bitter and could do anything to destabilize the government.
