Elizabeth Goins has been having some problems this week and has not felt well at all. After talking with the doctors, she had blood work done today to see if she needed magnesium and potassium. Luckily, she did not. The c-dif test came back negative. Good news! Unfortunately, that means that the host versus graft disease probably had gotten worse. They had increased the prednisone this week and that seems to be working today. She has some places on her that has blistered up and popped so Monday when we go to Duke they will address this. Hopefully, some new meds will take care of them. Elizabeth never has normal things!!!!! Just a few steps backward but she is feeling better today than she has in several days. Tomorrow is going to be even better. Hugs and love to each of you. Have a great weekend.
