Elizabeth Trutwin shared a post. 5 hrs · From Steve Bassett : FYI: the Blue Book, Project Grudge and Project Sign documents now available at projectbluebook.theblackvault were obtained from the fold3 website by a Black Vault supporter. Digital conversion of these documents to searchable form was done by the Black Vault and took many months. There was no formal press release put out when the new site was launched. When members of the press learned about the site - many of whom were not even born when Project Blue Book closed down in 1969 - they mistakenly thought this was a new release of files by the Air Force. This resulted in massive coverage. Outcome: the Blue Book, Project Sign, Project Grudge files are now back in play at the perfect time to help the Congressional Hearing Initiative. Everybody wins: the Black Vault, fold3, the CHI, and the American people. All good. Lets move forward.
