Elizabeth Warren & Bernie Sanders are not far enough to the left for me. Thats Right. The United States is so rigged to deprive 90% of all us of a fair unobstructed path to health and meaningful work while taking almost all of the economic gains for the top 10% that we must have a bold audacious adjustment! We must free the people to be healthy and even find happiness and not spend all of our days struggling to simply survive. We must have more of us free to create our dreams, dream businesses, scientific discoveries, educational discoveries, or spend time with our families and loved ones! That is life! We dont live to work. The people in power economically want to keep us all struggling on the hamster wheel of this so called globalized economy so we dont have time to pursue our dreams and create businesses such as ones designed to keep other employees employed or to make things while not harming the environment. Because if we have such businesses then our wages will be fair and higher and their massive incomes will be less. Thats one thing some of these elite rich folks cant stomach is ever having less. They seem to always want more no matter how much they have and see no problems with that even while millions starve! I think if we want a living wage then we must move from and economy of Owned Workers to Worker Owned businesses. Coops or worker owned businesses have a goal to keep full employment that is equal to maximizing profits and puts employees, customers and the community on an equal priority with profits which is sustainable and helps everyone not just CEOs and major shareholders. Neither Senators Warren or Sanders have suggested a Basic Income to replace the current social services and welfare system such as the one recently proposed in Switzerland. Neither one of them have talked about a tax on total wealth not just income which I believe we should look at. Neither have talked about heavily taxing the energy extractors who mine our public lands and Seas for oil and gas at rates that other nations like England and Finland do and distributing the money to the people. Nor have they discussed reinstituting the fair speech doctrine and regulating chronic propaganda liars like FOX news that robs Americans of accurate information. Neither have talked about banning large capacity ammunition clips to stop mass murders. Neither (that I know of) have discussed outlawing the various forms of revolving doors of lobbying and Congress. Neither have discussed enacting public financing of elections to entirely get big money out of politics and let the average person get a chance to run and win on their merits. They are both great! But America has been dragged so far to the right by the Republicans and the Democrats who have been captured by corporate donors and their corporate campaign consultants that we must have candidates who are far far to the left to even things out! If it takes bringing on the Green Party or the Socialist Party then so be it! People are suffering and dying because of the status quo! The status quo has got to go!
