Ellen, I would like you to meet my 4 year old grandson, Kashton, and my 10 week old granddaughter, Ellis. This is a special moment my daughter accidentally caught on camera today that showed an incredible moment of love. You see, we are so blessed that Ellis and her mommy are here with us today. They almost didnt make it. My daughter went into sudden severe preeclampsia with pulmonary edema at 30 weeks pregnant. Within a few hours Corey went from being observed in antepartum to being in critical care. Before we knew it she was rushed into the OR and just moments later we met our sweet 2 pound 3 ounce Ellis Monroe. Another hour passed and I was escorted back to ICU only to find my daughter on life support. They have been through so much in the last 10 weeks, but are fighting through. Ellis is finally home from the NICU and we are enjoying every second we have with her. I hope you enjoy!!!
