Ellen Is A Disappointment! --US Secretary Of State Allegedly Declares --As George Soros Ends Support To Her When two leading newspapers in the country, Informer and Front Page Africa, reported on last week that President Barrack Obama snubbed President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf during a recent visit to that country, the Ministry of Information and press secretary to the President retaliated with a vehement denial, but there is much more to the story; writes Jah H. Johnson. The acting minister of information, Isaac Jackson and press secretary to the President, Jerolinmek Piah, did a splendid job for their boss when they derided the Informer and Front Page Africa for publishing unpalatable material on their boss. The loquacious Piah and Jackson probably had not considered the fact that there is more substance to the story than the defensive form they were in. Based on the report and insider information that the National Chronicle has in its possession, if true, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is sailing towards very choppy waters. Based on the sophistication of her navigation equipment, she knows the course she has charted is perilous but, like the Titanic of April 14, 1912, it is too late to change course. The alleged President Obama snubbing of President Sirleaf because of massive corruption and other bad governmental practices does have a lot of truth in it: the 68th US Secretary of State, John Forbes Kerry, who served in the United States Senate from 1985 to 2013, has unofficially hinted that President Sirleaf has disappointed them. Secretary Kerry, who was chairman for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, once predicted, like a clairvoyant, that Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf would one day become President of Liberia. He predicted this in the 1980s, when the late military dictator, Samuel K. Doe ruled Liberia and Sirleaf was an advocate for social justice and democracy. Sirleaf, supported by someone like the late Massachusetts senator, Edward (Teddy) Kennedy, an enemy of President Doe, who may now be turning in his grave because of the disappointment, can now be very careful with Uncle Sam, some analysts have hinted. If John Kerry made such a statement, it means that the Americans are fed-up with the corruption and bad practices of the President, some commentator say. Subsequently, billionaire George Soros, a prominent supporter of American democratic ideals and causes for more than 30 years, and a personal friend of President Sirleaf, has terminated his support to the Liberian government due to massive corruption in the system, the Chronicle has gathered. Soros ended his support to his friend, President Sirleaf, during the latter part of last year, but the government has been suppressing the news. Soros became the sponsor of the Senior Executive Service (SES) program at her ascendency to the high office. The SES program is meant to attract Liberian professionals in the diaspora. Soros is also the chairman of the Soros Fund Management LLC, chairman of the Open Society Institute, and founder and advisor of the Quantum Fund. He is reportedly worth US$20 billion. Soros is an executive member of the Democratic Party, United States, and is its largest donor; thus, he is nicknamed ‘Mr. Democrat’ and is very close to President Obama. Many analysts suggest that this is not good for President Sirleaf. It is like the writing on the wall; perhaps she is reading it but, like King Belshazzar of Babylon, needs a Prophet Daniel to interpret. John Kerry and George Soros are two people very important to President Obama. If President Sirleaf is in their bad books, she will definitely fall on the wrong side of the present Democratic government of the United States. President Obama’s snubbing of President Sirleaf does have some logic.
