Ellis Announcements for Sept 23, 2013 Family Lunch Day is this Wednesday, Sept 25th. Thank you to those who sent in their RSVP. If you haven’t done so, it’s not too late! Congratulations to 3rd grade for having 97% attendance today. Congratulations to 3rd grade for winning last week’s overall attendance competition with 99%! Shout out to Ms. Dunivan’s class for earning 10 Big Tiger Paws twice last week! As a reward, they will be eating ice cream & playing on the playground. Character Kids Club will meet on Thursday, September 26 at 7:50 a.m. in the library. We will be writing lessons for our character word for October: self-control. There will be a special parade just for kids from 4 years old – 5th grade to ride pull, pedal or motorized (battery only) toys on Oct 4th. Line-up is at 5pm at 5th Street (the street east of the Medical Clinic); the parade begins at 5:30pm. You may pick an entry form up at the Ellis Office. The entry form is available in the Ellis Office. The high school and elementary school art students will be showing off some of their best work at the Plattsburg Fall Festival on Saturday, October 5th. Stop by and check out their work! PTA is collecting the following: Box Tops, Best Choice labels, Coke Rewards (you can send in the code found inside the carton or in the lid and PTA will do the rest or you can log into mycokerewards and donate the points under your own account), D’animals (codes on product; just send in codes), Tyson Food labels, Campbell’s soup labels, and Lids for Kids program at Red Cross pharmacies (you must ask for this lid on your prescription. It is not automatic). Also, if you’re a Target shopper, visit target/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate CCR3 to earn money on all your purchases at Target.
