Ellis Medicine is seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Manager who will share our commitment to quality and passion for improving healthcare. ASSOCIATE NURSE MANAGER – CARDIAC SURGERY This role is responsible for functioning as the clinical manager of a unit for an assigned shift. Provides support to the nurse manager in the planning, coordination, staffing, and supervision of nursing care delivery to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards of care and practice. Requirements Include: - A graduate of an approved school of nursing, currently licensed in New York State as a RN. Bachelor of Science in nursing is required, MSN preferred. - Minimum of three years’ experience in the acute care setting and cardiac surgery is required. - Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills are essential.
