Ellis Nassour, right, was honored by University of Mississippi Dean of Libraries Dr. Julia Rholes, left, and others at a reception centered on the Mamie and Ellis Nassour Arts and Entertainment Collection donated to the library by Nassour in honor of his parents. Nassour is a journalism graduate of Ole Miss who has spent most of his creative and journalistic career centered on Broadway in New York and the entertainment industry in general. Dr. Rholes said the items in the collection will be displayed, archived and many will be circulated. She said the collection is vast, impressive and important to the university.
