Eloise had her numbers tested this morning and her bili number is back in range. They are going to keep her under the lights for the rest of the day to keep them going in the right direction. Im really hoping we dont have to take any bili devices home with us. I can handle a lot but not being able to comfort sends me over the edge. Were already having such a rough time learning to feed and then having to bruise up her foot repeatedly because her blood is too thick. Now she is helplessly left alone and naked and I cant pick her up makes this mommy lose her cool. Luckily the nurse last night took pity on me and took her to nursery and took care of her for me. She promised me 4 hours but actually gave me 6!!! I was so happy about being offered sleep and that someone was helping my baby that I cried myself to sleep.
