Email and letter sent to Jeremy Lefroy today ref his question in the house and response Sorry its a little long but didnt know how else to do it and suggest you all email him so he understands what we think Jeremy I hope you are well and wish you a good new year and hope our hospital services are re-instated and HS2 is cancelled. I am writing on two matters in that I saw your question to the house regarding safety issues for the Stafford constituents with the current debacle at Royal Stoke. We see Royal Stokes inability to cope, creating ambulance back ups and patients waiting in ambulances and a shortage of beds and what can only be described as a complete failure of safe emergency policies with hard working staff overwhelmed. I saw the response to your question, which can only be regarded as lip service, in that the transfer of more services and patients from Stafford to Royal Stole will somehow ease the burdon, which can only be regarded as double dutch. I am also extremely concerned that due to the anaesthetists being withdrawn from Stafford that the crash teams will be far less than they are at present and cardiac arrest will be left to nurses which will be for wards and A & E. In other words we will have far less of a service level than we have had in the past. This simply cant be right as we know cardiac arrest is down to minutes, but I then then heard they intend to have an anaesthetist within a 20 minute range, so how does that work especially in what Im told is an SCA (Sudden cardiac arrest) Have you had sight of the full health and safety risk assessment for this particular issue, and if not can you please on my behalf request this from the management for CountyHospital. My feeling after studying the accounts of Royal Stoke is that this move is a blatant plan to increase the turnover of that hospital from an income of £472m to encompass Staffords income of circa £100m to close to £600m to finance their losses due to the £52m per year due to their £365m PFI debt. Its clear to me, and know your background is also finance, that the Laing O Rourke build was needed but the management got their cash flow all wrong for the future debt service, and Stafford suffers, as they take it over and create what they term Synergies ( Something I would do if I took over a new business except here lives are now put at stake) John Laing finance have now acquired this PFI debt which will cost this trust £1.7 billion or so over its 36 year term to borrow £365 million and is a national and local disgrace. Due to this financial failure by the UHNS bean counters and its attempts to balance the books stafford suffers badly whilst Hacket and his mob supported by Hunt asset strip my hospital. Why Jeremy do you continue to support a party that is clearly out of touch with NHS reality, and I hear so many times its a question of priorities where the money goes Your party sees these as a better priority than the health of our nation -- HS2 £50 billion, PFI debt on £200 billion, Foreign Aid £13 billion, payments to EU £20 billion, TTIP and public services for sale to the highest bidder, whilst our NHS is starved of cash to make way for Camerons privatisation dream, whilst Circle dump Hichinbrook because they cant make the profits they expected. (There is something of the night about profit from health care) Its a big massive mess Jeremy and can assure that whilst I am no longer Ukip Stafford will be heard at the GE, and Im in touch with many areas like Stafford with hospital services diminished and their attitude is the same. I look forward to hearing from you Regards Trevor Forrester Mob 07717298049 Sent from my iPhone
