Email of the day from listener Patrick Blair: Long time Listener, first time writer, I turn 30 years old tomorrow, so I decided to look back at my life to reflect a little. I grew up in a home with two loving parents both previously married; my mother had 2 kids from that previous marriage. My father was a great role model and taught me to be a man, but in terms of dating women he left me clueless, he married a single mother, he had little to offer in that area. In High school I was the pussy, whipped by the vagina, held it up on a pedestal, and I was the typical nice guy. I was destined to follow my dad’s footsteps and probably marry a single mother myself or be married young. But by chance or luck, my father’s good friend came to visit us my senior year. He asked about how I was doing with the chicks at my school, am I tapping any cuties? I had no good answer for him. He said, “Listen to the TOM LEYKIS SHOW ASAP” “It will change your life.” The summer before I went to college I decided I haven’t had any luck with women so I turned on your show. Leykis 101 was playing. Felt like a wave of knowledge and wisdom crashed over me in just that first hour. From then on I listened to you religiously, soaking up everything you were saying, all the tenets of Leykis 101, get my college degree, don’t get in a serious relationship, women are dream killers, work to build my own business, etc. College was my training ground, all your advice I applied and from that point on you changed my life. I went to your show at the Paramount in Seattle, WA. I couldn’t be happier the way my life has turned out. I own my own home, I have no debt beside my home, I am my own boss, my business just surpassed $5 million in revenue, I am single, no kids, learned to love me first, watched all of my friends the past 10 years make the mistakes your callers talk about so often. I tried turning them on to you but their single mothers from Washington brainwashed them at a very young age. You saved me father, I can’t thank you enough, I owe everything to you. I will do my best to pass on your teachings where ever I might be. My one wish is to buy you a glass of wine someday. Thank you father, have a great day! Blow me up Tom!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely your son, Patrick Blair
