Project Manager Description: The Project Manager will oversee a wide range of projects that support clinical and commercial manufacturing. This role includes projects that are cross-functional, multi-site, complex, and at times requires oversight of outside contractors & partners. Principal Responsibilities: Build project schedules with content provided from subject matter experts; highlighting dependencies & critical path. Maintain project schedules. Update weekly project status tools; provide these to management on a regular basis. Escalate schedule changes and other project impacts to management; requiring excellent written & verbal communication skills. Support a variety of functional groups at clients Manufacturing Facility, as well as representatives from other sites. Manage internal and external resource as part of cross-functional teams assigned to the project . Facilitate Meetings Publish meeting minutes. Track action items to closure. Develop mitigation plans. Develop and track project goals and performance metrics. Qualifications: 5 years’ experience managing projects with varying degrees of complexity; preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry. Experience managing global projects with team members in multiple locations. Experience managing internal resources and external contractors/vendors. Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time with client satisfaction. High level of proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint. Mastery of Microsoft Project; knowledge of MS Project Server a plus. Education: Bachelor’s Degree PMP certification a plus.
