Test Design Engineer Responsibilities will include: Design and development of test plans, procedures, test strategies, and test requirements, of company products; design and development of automated test equipment system’s, test program set (TPS) development, built-in-test architectures at both the assembly and system level, and test systems integration, verification, and support. Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge in the area of specialization and is cognizant of developments in other related fields by keeping abreast of new test techniques, test equipment, design-for-test criteria and built-in-test design approaches by way of contacts with other industries, current publications, advanced education, attendance at technical seminars and membership in professional societies/organizations. TPS development experience with RF and Digital Unit’s Under Test; including test requirements definition, interface test adapter (ITA) design, test program software development and TPS integration on host ATE platform. Experience/familiarity with automated RF Pulse testing , RF test equipment design, programming RF COTS and VXI equipment, and IEEE-488 and MIL-STD-1553 Bus operation required. Test program software development experience using C language is required. Experience with programming in National Instruments test Stand and LabWindows/CVI environment. Knowledge of Electronic Warfare principles, operation, and testing a major plus. Must be a team player and show responsibility for the conduct and performance of assignments.
