Embarrassing but funny! ...waiting in the delivery room...baby #3 on her way...huge, quiet delivery room...lights are low...sound of tiny but steady heart beats...thump...thump...thump...from the monitor... In the corner a huge chair folds into lounger...settled in with a few snacks, drinks, camera and iPad...locate an extra pillow and blanket...set up camp for the duration... Its been a sleepless night...doze on and off, nurses and Drs come in and out..wake to find room filled with medical staff surrounding bed in centre of room..3 resident interns, 3 nurses listening intently as attending Dr talks with team! Tallulah sits up in the dimly lit corner and listens intently. Hungry... so quietly reaches for goodie bag...Tupperware with 6 fresh hard boiled eggs. Tallulah pops open the container...In seconds...pungent sulphuric gas fills the entire delivery room! Discussion abruptly ends and heads immediately turn to the dimly lit corner!...No! No! No! Its not what you think...one young Dr says...Oh...thought we forgot to remove the last patient from the room! Lol! embarrassing but very funny memory!
